A: Absolutely not. After piercing each hole, I take extra time to carefully smooth and round off every edge by hand . There are no sharp edges – just gentle, rounded openings through which the water can drain, whilst securely holding your fruit in place.

A: The high-fired ceramic is theoretically dishwasher-safe . However, as a maker, the longevity of the glaze’s lustre is close to my heart, so I recommend hand washing out of love for the piece .
